Kaye Linden has completed her
MFA in fiction at the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts on Whidbey Island. Kaye
is currently working on a thesis collection of fifty mind- bending Australian
tales, set in the magical urban sanctuary of Ma's Place. She is the current editor of the Gainesville Bacopa
Literary Review, a print journal of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
Kaye's short stories and
flash fictions have appeared numerous times in The Raven Chronicles,Expressions
magazine, Breves no tan breves, Whispers from the
Unseen: Journal and Forum for Writing in the Arts, Soundings Review, Bacopa
Literary Review, The Camel Saloon and Danse Macabre.
Kaye was born and raised in
Australia, has a B.Sc. in Nursing and an international black belt in Tae Kwon
Do. She resides in Gainesville, with her family. Kaye is an active member of
the Writers' Alliance of Gainesville, and its associated short fiction critique
pod. Kaye
is also an active member of Toastmasters International.
Kaye has attended numerous
writers' conferences including the annual Writing
the Region conferencein
Gainesville, Gotham Writers' Workshops online and Writers' Digest online school.
Kaye plans to seek publication for her flash fiction thesis collection, teach
flash fiction and eventually pursue an MFA in poetry. Writing is her hobby and
passion. Kaye believes that stories and poetry return us to our roots, and
offer solace in a difficult world.
